In February we will cut part of the hedge at Penjar Pond to ground level to encourage bushy growth low down and reduce the height of the remainder. We will cut the other half next year,
We will also clear brambles and other vegetation from the side of the new path and cut back grass growing over the kerb.
Meet at Penjar Pond at 9.30am. A free car park is on the opposite side of Ladybridge Road.
Please bring gardening gloves. Boots or stout shoes are recommended.
We welcome new volunteers. You do not need experience of conservation work
and there is no obligation to attend every task. More information can be found on
our website. If you have not worked with the group before it would be helpful if you could let us know you will join us.
